I don’t know if you have noticed, but I love sweet potatoes. Yea. Who knew?! They are an amazing complex carbohydrate that is full of fiber and lots of delicious sweetness all on their own. The best way to bring that sweet flavor out is to bake them whole in the oven.
You can then serve them on their own as a delicious snack or side at dinner, mash them like in my Maple Sweet Potato Casserole, double bake them like I did with Fiesta Sweet Potatoes, or even make sushi with them. Yes, the sky’s the limit! The first step to all of this, however, is just knowing how to bake them.
