How can I even begin to describe the deliciousness that is this dip?! Let’s see…to start: it tastes like cheese. Blue cheese. It is super healthy and made with only 3 ingredients. It also compliments pretty much everything. Skinny Buffalo Chicken Wings? Put some dip on them. Veggies? Put some dip on them. Salad? Put some (dip) dressing on it. Ice cream? Put some…ok. It’s a very good thing that I was struggling with lung issues instead of heart issues a couple of weeks ago…otherwise I would have been in some serious danger after the game I went to over the weekend! It was a truly thrilling game – we’re up one second, down the next. I really and truly loved every second of that game…except the last one. Sadly, we lost. It was pretty awful. I mean, our state rival has to beat us every now and then, I suppose, or it wouldn’t be much of a “rivalry,” but still. It’s never fun to watch your team lose.Continue Reading
Happy November! (And Happy Halloween yesterday!)
In honor of all the kids who trick-or-treated last night, and even the dedicated parents I saw who dressed up, too, I decided to post a treat – Maple Pecan Pumpkin Biscotti, aka autumn sweetness in your mouth! These are perfect for dessert with ice cream, are excellent at breakfast with coffee, and would do really well at tea time, too!
If only we all had tea time, still. I mean, doesn’t work need to end a little earlier so everyone can have some tea? Or perhaps all offices could just be equipped with a tea room for people to go for an hour every afternoon to sip tea, eat these biscotti, and de-stress. That would be awesome. What. A. Week. Ok, yes, I’ve been a little absent from the blog, but since I last wrote, we found a new place to live and packed the entire South Carolina house!
