It’s official. I’m a newly converted North Carolinian. I have a license and everything! I even had a super fun trip to the DMV. About two hours in, we were told that the DMV computer system for the ENTIRE STATE had crashed and that no one could do anything until it was back up. Do you guys ever feel like dinner has gotten boring? Like you’ve been eating the same kind of stuff over and over again….like you’re stuck in a rut. I had no idea I was capable of staying away from the blog for so long! It has been tough on me, but I have been SO busy. I know you all know I’m a teacher by now, and, true, spring time at a school is a hectic time of year, but nope! That’s not what has kept me away. So what? What on earth could the big news be?!
Happy new year! I know I am a little late to the new year party, but after a much needed holiday break celebrating with tons of friends and family, I’m back! You missed me, right? Don’t worry, I missed you, too! I hope that your holidays and new year were as merry and bright as mine and that you are feeling rested and ready for 2014!
My favorite holiday is either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Perhaps I enjoy Thanksgiving more because it is the beginning of a full of month of graciously celebrating meaningful moments with family and friends. As an American, I know the story behind Thanksgiving, but I would like to share the meaning Thanksgiving has to me.
