Recently, John and I were reflecting on our first cooking experiences. It’s amazing how difficult it can all seem when you’re first getting started. There are also plenty of moments when you feel you have it all under control, but then you make one bone-headed mistake and your dish turns to bleh…or in my case, dough. Seriously, the second time I ever made my mom’s creamed spinach, I put a cup of flour instead of a tablespoon. The result? Warm spinach dough. Let me just say…DEEEE-licious. No, not really. Ha.
